Outram Red vs. East Taieri Green
Another loss for our Reds(only the second ever!) this week but they came up against a very strong team who had a game plan and stuck to it. They effectively shut our guys out from shooting and marked our guys so tightly they struggled to get the ball down the court. Our guys need to work on getting out from behind their players and practice their shooting! However, there were some bright moments to this game as the Reds never gave up and played better and better as the match went on. It was a great game to watch! There were three Players of the Day this week and they were: Georgia B who showed a lot of grit and determination, never losing her head or concentration, Zara S was great on defence and rebounding and Nicolas McA showed what a great impact player he is. He shut down the Taieri Greens top player and was focused the entire game. Score: 23/12 to Taieri Green
