Outram School Sports Academy

Outram School has recently formed a Sports Academy. 25 students from years 4-8 will be selected to partake in the academy for 2008. The Academy focuses on students who have been identified as talented in physical activity and uses sport as a context to develop life skills for success. Specifically the intention is for the students involved to further develop self-discipline, team work, individual responsibility, having exposure to competitive situations, making appropriate behavioural choices, and to enhance their levels of personal confidence.
