Outram School Hockey

Well the last team we played was Siverstream, they are a strong team but we always whip them. Goals scored by Bayley M ( 1)
and Joshua T ( 1) not very high but team worked hard and together like always. We lost our first game two weeks ago for the first time in three years with 4 people away. The team we played had never won a game so they were very pleased and we were happy for them we have some new players in the team that have just join and have never played before and are doing very well and I am proud of them. Our team is a very supportive team and dont put people down in the team as everyone as different abilitIes in the way they learn to play a sport. We play on Saturday 9:30 till 10:30 in Mosgiel and practice on Friday lunchtimes at school, there are 10 of us in the team and all learn new things as we play. Well done team.

Outram Yr 7/8 vs Arthur St 'A'

We had a great game against arthur street 'A', taking the win 64-8. The whole team played well and Emily B played especially well. Arthur St had no answer to the relentless attack by Outram struggling just to make it out of their own half. The team now has won 5 from 6 games and are looking forward to the playoffs.

Outram Sport Uniforms

Outram sport teams now have new sport uniforms. The singlets are made from the latest materials which help prevent overheating of the athlete and draw moisture away from the body. The uniforms are sponsored by Ready Lawn, McArthurs Fruit and the Outram Hotel. The school has two sets of uniforms with students from the 'A' and 'B' teams wearing them at sporting events. The school would like to thank its sponsors for their geneorsity.
